The Traces of God Among those who believe

Do not become discouraged when others appear to make great strides in eliminating his presence among believers. Wait for God's timing from His perspective. Remember all he has done already- the great acts through out Biblical history and for what he's done for you. God is working in the life of his children today. Be alert to corrections you need to make in your thoughts, attitude and actions. For He has given us all the gift of his Son Jesus Christ the assurance of Victory proclaimed upon the cross and having faith there is an empty tomb. Psalms 74-8. It is by internal faith we receive Salvation. God's values the attitude of our hearts above all else. Do not judge people's spiritually by their fulfillment of duties or level of human activity, do not think it is by works alone that will satisfy God. God notices all you do for him and will reward you for it, but only if it comes as a loving response to his free gift of Salvation. Human achievements no matter how impressive can not earn a person their Salvation, nor eternal life with God. Our relationship with Christ is not based on having all the right credentials, but by Grace alone. Works with out faith are but dead, And faith with out works fall short of God's Holy standards. You can not depend on Christian parents, Church affiliations , or just being good to make you right with God. Accomplishments nor a good reputation earn you His Salvation. Salvation comes only through faith in Christ and His finish work on Calvary. Just because Jesus does not meet your expectations of what He should be like does not mean He is not who He says He is and will always be. Usually when someone's agenda does not meet God's approval, Christ is rejected all together. Be careful of considering past achievements so important that they get in the way of your relationship with Christ. All my accomplishments are worthless when compared with knowing Christ. The ultimate goal is to know Christ values. Do not place anything nor anyone else above Christ desire to have a relationship with you.
Barrier Breaker:
Reorder your priorities when they are wrong. 1 Timothy 5-7. Look for ways to help other in need, especially your own family give them a listening ear, an encouraging word when needed. Doing other wise "Denies the Faith". Get involved in a Biblical based Church a circle of caring believers.

Christmas knocking at your Heart's Door

This time of year many decorate their front doors' with a Christmas wreath. What we display as our wreath within our heart is a vital purpose. There is someone who has come to every heart's door and stands and knocks gently to let Him in. When the door is open and you recognize who is there, you'll discover He is the perfect gift of all.Long ago in a humble stable in a far away manager, He revealed Himself in a child , so tender and mild, in spite of the danger of his birth. And what awaited him later on a Hill far away , where He would suffer and die, and as promised, He arose from the dead. Today , He lives and He is knocking at men hearts, for all who will believe ,will receive.There is someone at the door, Do you hear His gentle knocking? Let him in and place His wreath of ever lasting love upon your heart for all to see what He can make something beautiful , something good ,out of your life. For this is the reason of Christmas, He is Knocking at your Heart's door.

The Purpose

The Barrier Breaker for today is having the proper perspective in being willing to see everything from God's eyes. Imagine a beautiful forest with all its majestic beauty that surrounds it,and you can see the woodman's axe about to gnash a great oak tree's trunk, We see and hear it hit the bottom forest ground. You hear your Cry against the destruction's cause, and express your anger over such horror of the tree's beauty being rob from the place it can display its most beauty. In our protest of complaining the purpose for such demolition , we see a beautiful mountain side next to the tree that lies waiting at the foot of it a vast ocean blue from where we see the rafts carrying the logs to a place where they are polished and set forth to sail the vast open sea, for all to see what greater glory the oak tree's purpose can be used for. (Hag.2:9). God's axes of trials are used for man's life . Yet, we have no understanding and see no reason for the harsh and difficult circumstances of our fallen state.. God's purpose is to display all His splendor in our life for the world to see. The axe gnashing upon our life is to reach our goal which leads to a path in order to walk hand and hand with Him and receive the splendor plan of His love purpose for Calvary's tree. Even though there is no understanding of how much more by doing this, our life can be used to know what only He can see what is best for you and me.

To Whom It May Concern

To whom it may concern:
Life as we all know it is slipping by each one of us quickly, some of us might be aware of it, and some would debate this definition of the term (slipping away)? The question here is what are we slipping away from or to? From the dictionary:
1. Slip away - leave furtively and stealthily; "The lecture was boring and many students slipped out when the instructor turned towards the blackboard"
sneak away, sneak off, sneak out, steal away
go forth, leave, go away - go away from a place; "At what time does your train leave?"; "She didn't leave until midnight"; "The ship leaves at midnight"
2. Slip away - pass by; "three years elapsed"

Advance, march on, move on, progress, pass on, go on - move forward, also in the metaphorical sense; "Time marches on"
Fell, vanish, fly - pass away rapidly; "Time flies like an arrow"; "Time fleeing beneath him"
There many ways to interrupt this term, it depends on who you ask; the word abandon can be implied here for example:

abandon (Physically leave), verb abscond, absent oneself, back out, be gone, be off, cast off, decamp, defect, depart from, desert, destitute, disappear, emigrate, forsake, hominess deserter, leave behind, leave in the lurch, make one's exit, move off, quit, remove from, retreat, run away, secede from, set off, slip away from, take leave, take one's departure, take one's leave, turn one's back on.

At this moment you can leave, slip out, or abandon listening to the rest of this letter according to any of the above reasons for doing so. Or you can choose to stay and become that one whom it concerns. I hope you would stay and not abandon my concern for each one of you. I believe it will be in your best interest to remain, do not abandon the care of this message and give up the reason why it needs to be said, and heard, with the thought that you are being abandoned and will not receive the best of care by applying the healing message I so desire you will realize its interruption to be.

When Death Becomes Life
1-3So what do we do? Keep on sinning so God can keep on forgiving? I should hope not! If we've left the country where sin is sovereign, how can we still live in our old house there? Or didn't you realize we packed up and left there for good?
6-11Could it be any clearer? Our old way of life was nailed to the cross with Christ, a decisive end to that sin-miserable life—no longer at sin's every beck and call! What we believe is this: If we get included in Christ's sin-conquering death, we also get included in his life-saving resurrection. We know that when Jesus was raised from the dead it was a signal of the end of death-as-the-end. Never again will death have the last word. When Jesus died, he took sin down with him, but alive he brings God down to us. From now on, think of it this way: Sin speaks a dead language that means nothing to you; God speaks your mother tongue, and you hang on every word. You are dead to sin and alive to God. That's what Jesus did.
12-14That means you must not give sin a vote in the way you conduct your lives. Don't give it the time of day. Don't even run little errands that are connected with that old way of life, so: Throw yourselves wholeheartedly and full-time—remember you've been raised from the dead!—into God's way of doing things. Sin can't tell you how to live. After all, you're not living under that old tyranny any longer. You're living in the freedom of God.
What Is True Freedom?
15-18So, since we're out from under the old tyranny, does that mean we can live any old way we want? Since we're free in the freedom of God, can we do anything that comes to mind? Hardly. You know well enough from your own experience that there are some acts of so-called freedom that destroy freedom. Offer yourselves to sin, for instance, and it's your last free act. But offer yourselves to the ways of God and the freedom never quits. All your lives you've let sin tell you what to do. But thank God you've started listening to a new master, one whose commands set you free to live openly in his freedom!
20-21As long as you did what you felt like doing, ignoring God, you didn't have to bother with right thinking or right living, or right anything for that matter. But do you call that a free life? What did you get out of it? Nothing you're proud of now. Where did it get you? It is a dead end.
22-23But now that you've found you don't have to listen to sin tell you what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening to God telling you, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put-together life right now, with more and more of life on the way! Work hard for sin your whole life and your pension is death. But God's gift is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus, our Master.

The Solution Is Life on God's Terms
1-2With the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, that fateful dilemma is resolved. Those who enter into Christ's being-here-for-us no longer have to live under a continuous, low-lying black cloud. A new power is in operation. The Spirit of life in Christ, like a strong wind, has magnificently cleared the air, freeing you from a fated lifetime of brutal tyranny at the hands of sin and death.
3-4God went for the jugular when he sent his own Son. He didn't deal with the problem as something remote and unimportant. In his Son, Jesus, he personally took on the human condition, entered the disordered mess of struggling humanity in order to set it right once and for all. The law code, weakened as it always was by fractured human nature, could never have done that.
The law always ended up being used as a Band-Aid on sin instead of a deep healing of it. And now what the law code asked for but we couldn't deliver is accomplished as we, instead of redoubling our own efforts, simply embrace what the Spirit is doing in us.
5-8Those who think they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust God's action in them find that God's Spirit is in them—living and breathing God! Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life. Focusing on the self is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, ends up thinking more about self than God. That person ignores who God is and what he is doing. And God isn't pleased at being ignored.
9-11But if God himself has taken up residence in your life, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. Anyone, of course, who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, the Spirit of Christ, won't know what we're talking about. But for you who welcome him, in whom he dwells—even though you still experience all the limitations of sin—you yourself experience life on God's terms. It stands to reason, doesn't it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he'll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ's!
12-14So don't you see that we don't owe this old do-it-yourself life one red cent. There's nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God's Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go!

18-21That's why I don't think there's any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times. The created world itself can hardly wait for what's coming next. Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the same moment into the glorious times ahead. Meanwhile, the joyful anticipation deepens.
22-25All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it's not only around us; it's within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We're also feeling the birth pangs. These sterile and barren bodies of ours are yearning for full deliverance. That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don't see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.
26-28Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter and He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.
29-30God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son. The Son stands first in the line of humanity he restored. We see the original and intended shape of our lives there in him. After God made that decision of what his children should be like, he followed it up by calling people by name. After he called them by name, he set them on a solid basis with himself. And then, after getting them established, he stayed with them to the end, gloriously completing what he had begun.
31-39So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture:
They kill us in cold blood because they hate you.
We're sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one.
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I'm absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.

The barrier breaker here is making the choice not to slip away, nor abandon what He God says, that concerns all that He knows is best for you and me. He promises that He will take care of it all.

The Kiss of Grace

Thinking of Valentine Day and "LOVE", God's love that is perfect to remove all fear.
He is a gracious and merciful God, there is no limit of number of times we can come to him and obtain his mercy and grace.
But we must come and embrace the kiss of grace, asking him to help us makes the changes in our attitude and behavior that will correct that situation.God is willing to heal and restore your condition no matter what that may be.
God's grace is his generosity,any one that turns to him will receive his grace. BARRIER BREAKER- Therefore , do not give excuse, whoever you are, speaking of others' sin,when you also are in need to come to him in the spirit of humility, then we will no longer look at others with content, but rather with love , no one is good enough to earn grace.
No one is good enough to save them self, if we want to be in harmony with others and God we must totally depend upon God's Kiss of Grace.
God's grace gives us salvation from our sins, and if you say you have not sinned it is not true, because we have all sinned and come short of the glory and grace of God.
His guidelines in his word,(the Bible), is the road to living the life of grace.

God's grace is voluntary and loving favor given to those he saves.We can not earn it, deserve it. No religious or mortal effort can gain it, because it comes only from God's mercy and love. Without his grace not person can be saved. The Kiss of Grace is yours today.

What We Want and What We Need

How is it that what we think we want is not always the case? It is not until the consequences of our desires are exposed do we see the need of a lesson to be learned. We must carefully consider and research our actions needs. For instance, an impulsive purchase can lead to unnecessary debt. Do we learn the lesson or do we repeat the action with potentially more costly consequences.

An outburst of anger can cost a friendship or a marriage to dissolve. A hasty word wounds the heart and may lead to emotional infection which can long lasting. Why does the need to have the last word cause such pain?

Feelings of insecurity can be strong motivators causing us to plunge ahead and deepen the need to be heard. Some get a second chance to correct the errors of their ways, and others do not even get the chance to try. Life is filled with many questions that cry out for answers.

God is the only one that can correctly determine what is best for us. He is the only one that knows what we really need or what we think we want.

God Covers Our Shame

"Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God" Psalms 42:11.
From the beginning of time God has covered our shame. Adam and Eve hid from God cause they knew they had messed up. God called out to them and he did not say,"Look at what you two have done," no, He asked, "Why are you two hiding"? God covered their shame. God wants us to hide in Him from the hurts of life, he does not want us to run away and hide from Him. Then there is Noah, God told him to build an Ark and even though it had never rained Noah obeyed God. The people of the world did not believe the purpose of God's covering of the Ark from what was going to take place. The people waited until they could see the raging waters and it was to late by then. Again God was trying to cover man's shame. Abraham was told he would bear a son at his old age, but when his wife Sari heard this she could not hear the word "Wait and see," she only saw her condition of her womb and question it to be to old for her to conceive. So, Sari went ahead of the Lord and gave her hand maiden instead to take her place. A miracle did occur as God had promised ,by then a new different set of problems a rose and even so God covered Abraham with keeping His promise He made.
Joseph brothers were jealous of their brother and sold him into slavery, many years went by the brothers and father believed Joesph was dead. Until a great famine occurred in the land and Joseph was used of God through his problems in Egypt to gain favor from the King, and A whole nation! was saved.
These stories happen to people like you and me, they felt the same shame, disappointment, heartache, loneliness,but God turn each situation around for good.
God is the same God then, as He is today, and the same God for tomorrow, God has covered our (SIN), Shame by sending His only Son Jesus who's blood covers our every need here and for eternity. Do not hide from God, do not get ahead of God, believe His promise to never leave nor forsake you, Do not take matters into your own hands. Instead believe and put your hope and trust in the nailed scared hands of the only one who covers you through it all by His unconditional love.
