"Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God" Psalms 42:11.
From the beginning of time God has covered our shame. Adam and Eve hid from God cause they knew they had messed up. God called out to them and he did not say,"Look at what you two have done," no, He asked, "Why are you two hiding"? God covered their shame. God wants us to hide in Him from the hurts of life, he does not want us to run away and hide from Him. Then there is Noah, God told him to build an Ark and even though it had never rained Noah obeyed God. The people of the world did not believe the purpose of God's covering of the Ark from what was going to take place. The people waited until they could see the raging waters and it was to late by then. Again God was trying to cover man's shame. Abraham was told he would bear a son at his old age, but when his wife Sari heard this she could not hear the word "Wait and see," she only saw her condition of her womb and question it to be to old for her to conceive. So, Sari went ahead of the Lord and gave her hand maiden instead to take her place. A miracle did occur as God had promised ,by then a new different set of problems a rose and even so God covered Abraham with keeping His promise He made.
Joseph brothers were jealous of their brother and sold him into slavery, many years went by the brothers and father believed Joesph was dead. Until a great famine occurred in the land and Joseph was used of God through his problems in Egypt to gain favor from the King, and A whole nation! was saved.
These stories happen to people like you and me, they felt the same shame, disappointment, heartache, loneliness, but God turn each situation around for good.
God is the same God then, as He is today, and the same God for tomorrow, God has covered our (SIN), Shame by sending His only Son Jesus who's blood covers our every need here and for eternity. Do not hide from God, do not get ahead of God, believe His promise to never leave nor forsake you, Do not take matters into your own hands. Instead believe and put your hope and trust in the nailed scared hands of the only one who covers you through it all by His unconditional love.

Attitude
Click on link for theme song. There is Power in the Blood
It is vital that we look at things from God's perspective. I Cor. 4:6. Pray for a right attitude, one of balance and ask for wisdom. Instead of fretting about your situation go to the Lord and ask Him for clear direction. We must reach beyond our own understanding for the right answer. In Christ means that He is in it with you. We are not left alone to figure out the unexplained circumstances of what happens to us.
Colossians 3:1, explains the reality of God's hand upon our life. We are to have an attitude of a solider that knows he is on the winning side. Because Christ over came the afflictions of the cross, so we have overcome sin by the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ. He wants us to have an attitude of recognition of His accomplished work of Calvary.
Barrier Breakers
1. Our afflictions produce endurance, for He endured the cross for the sake of our sins.
2. In His name we can proclaim freedom.
3. We have Hope because of the power that raised Jesus from the dead.
We are to have a Thankful attitude. This gratitude makes sense of the past, brings peace for today, and gives us hope for tomorrow.
Prayer Attitude
Dear Lord,
I trust you today and I know that you will show me the way.
Guide me according to your plans that I believe by faith my life is in your hands.
Keep me mindful of your truth that is revealed in your light. Your watchful eye keeps me day and night.
I focus on your love and your mercy and goodness sent from above.
I trust you to help me in everything I say and do.
For I trust you will see me through. Amen

Distractions

Do not lose faith in well doing because your due season is just around the corner. Hebrews 10 35-38.
When God starts something He will finish the good work He has began. Phil 1-6.
The Lord is the source of your strength and wisdom. Psalms 34:18-19.
When we feel we are at our wits end, it is this time to remember what Christ accomplished on the cross. Our every step is to recognize His provision is at work in and through us for His glory.
Distractions are barriers that are used to get us off track. For example when we give in and allow others to upset us. We are to keep our focus on God and not the approval of people. God wants our life to shine for His glory.
We are not to get distracted by time, money, people and things.
2 Timothy2:22 says," We are to run our journey with faith, love, and peace".
"A life lived in God is not" lived on the plane of feelings, but of His will. Give up illusions there is no problem free life. Link your hope not in the problem solving, but to the promise of God's answer to every problem working for our good.
John 6:33 gives the assurance of what-ever may come against you God is ever the more for you.
The Key to move forward in spite of our circumstances. Rest in the Lord and the timing of His purpose. Psalms 37:7. Waiting is hard only when we insist on living according to our time table and not God's.
Satan task is to get us not to trust God.
When you place your trust in God's promises Christ will give you the strength to see you through anything.
Barrier breakers:
1. Trust in the Lord and do good
2. Delight, commit, Trust, Rest, wait,
3. Do not fret, cease from doubting.
Psalms 41, Psalms 37: 7 and PS 62.
Blessed are those who follow God's leading all the days of their life.
DO NOT GET DISTRACTED!

He is Father
Click on link for theme song. He Knows My Name
Matthew 7:11 "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask Him!"
God delights in showering blessings of His goodness on His children. The Father gives good things and perfect things to His children because He delights in rewarding obedience. The barrier of not receiving is not only due to lack of faith, but not trusting God will give what is in the best interest of our growth in Him. We feel we deserve nothing which is true, yet while we were yet sinners He gave up His only Son for our sin. Receiving from God is not the objective, but to accept what He already gave us for this life.
Psalms 17 says, The greatest need is to have a relationship with Him. We are nothing without what He accomplished on Calvary. To know Him and the power of His resurrection is our greatest gift. We need to know we are His beloved creations. Always be thankful for making us His children. There is nothing apart from His love that will satisfy our deepest longing. God is committed to meeting all your needs. He has promised to take care of us. He wants us to seek His right way of living in Him with love and then all these others things will fall in their right place. Our main need on earth is food, housing, and clothes, everything else is a privilege. What keeps us apart from God is our Sins. Nothing else can separate us from His love. Nothing is more meaningful to Him than our obedience which He loves to reward.
We honor God when we love him in return. God wants us to depend on Him alone. By His love we know we are His children. Trust that God loves you completely. Trust His timing and believe that He is your Loving Father.
God loves me , He wants to set me free.
He calls me His own, and promises we will never be alone.
He is the giver of good gifts to those who obey,
When we trust His way.
Be thankful for who He is and His goodness you will not miss.

His Strength
Click on link for theme song. His Eye Is Upon The Sparrow
The Lord is my strength and shield in time of trouble. Psalms 28-7. I can do all things in Him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13. Christ paid a price for each of our lives. Life's struggles may be frustrating, but God's accomplishment upon the cross has made the provision for overcoming by His power any struggle we face in life.
Barrier Breaker
I entrust my Spirit in your loving hand, rescue me Lord, for you are a faithful Father. We are to recognize that He is greater than our problems. Even when these problems come and, they will, even then God has a plan of escape. We complicate His answer by trying to escape or by taking an easier way out.
I read a story of a butterfly who was encased in it's cocoon out in the woods. A passerby noticed the butterfly was trying to get out. He made the choice to help the butterfly escape, so he cut the cocoon and the butterfly fell out. The timing was too soon, for the wings were yet not fully developed.
We are not to fear God's timing. We do not need to have our own way to be happy. Waiting on God's timing is a key barrier breaker. The Lord is the light of my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life of what shall I be afraid of. Psalms 27:1.
Barrier Breaker:
We must believe we will see God's goodness in the land of the living. The harder life is, the greater the freedom in Him. God will reward you for waiting on Him. ECC 3:11 Blessed is the man who puts their trust in the Lord. Ps 34-8.
The Lord gives us His living water when we are in a dry place. He supplies the ever flowing and ever lasting spring of water which helps us grow. He is the master gardener and attends to His garden where we never die. Is 58-11. Have faith and do not doubt. You can do all things in Him who gives you the strength you need.
Faith is what pleases Him. Give Him your very best all the time. You can move forward focus on His provision and not in people, places, nor things to meet your needs. God's loves never fails, Job 22-21 Stop and ask God for direction and He will direct your steps. If He keeps His eyes upon the sparrow how much more will He Strengthen you.
Poetry by the blog author
Little fragile birdie why can you not fly.
God wants to help you so you will not die.
Have you hurt yourself, or did someone else.
God wants your broken wings to heal.
He hears your cry there where you kneel.
Little fragile birdie no need to stagger,
No need to become a beggar.
Rest upon His healing hand.
He is your creator not man.
Little fragile birdie
trust that your tears he can see.
Then you'll be ready to fly and you'll be free.
